Deaf action is a close to our heart charity having helped us start to learn sign during the pandemic via zoom classes. It is a Deaf led charity with a main goal to 'empower all deaf people to achieve their potential and fully participate in society, with equality of rights, access and opportunity.' They help thousands of Deaf people and their families access the right supports using their 188 year (as of 2023) experience.
These teddies feature the Deaf Action logo on their chest and make up part of the Madison's Zoo collection of Merchandise designed by Dunbar T-Shirt Shop youngest member Madison (9 year old cochlear implant user) who wanted to help support and raise money for Deaf Action.
